Signature with Cl@ve-Signature

What does it consist of?

It is a signature system based on the use of centralized electronic certificates, which are stored and guarded by the Public Administration. These centralized certificates allow for a citizen to sign electronic documents from any device under the only condition of having an Internet connection up and running, with no additional equipment requirements (neither hardware nor software).

The certificates necessary to carry out the centralized signature are issued and guarded by the General Police Directorate. The custody of these certificates is carried out in a secure manner, in such a way that only the holder of the certificate can have access to them.

The signing process is carried out under the highest level of security, that is, in addition to entering the username and password, the holder must provide a single-use code that will be sent via an SMS to the mobile phone number given at the time of registration.

Who is it for?

For any individual.

How can I get it?

It is necessary to carry out the following steps:

  1. Registration in the Cl@ve System. Carrying out the registration as described in the identification system with Cl@ve. If we have already registered in Cl@ve before, it is not necessary to register again.

  2. Activation of the signature certificate (Cl@ve Permanente). Obtaining system access credentials through user ID and password, which must be kept by the citizen. The password be valid for a limited period of time. The activation can be carried out automatically, at the time of making the first signature, or at any other time, at user's will. The first video in the following section shows how to carry out the activation and certificate generation process.
